People are at the heart of our sustainability strategy. As a certified Great Place to Work in 2024, we prioritise wellbeing, flexibility and personal development. Our team benefits from regular training, CPD events, mental and physical health support and mental health first aid trained wellbeing champions. We invest in the next generation through work experience programmes and industry engagement, helping to build a more inclusive and forward-thinking sector.
At Hunters, sustainability is embedded in everything we do.
From the projects we deliver to the way we work with people and products, our latest Sustainability Impact Report, produced in collaboration with Love Design Studio, outlines our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and driving positive change across the furniture industry.
Our People
Our Suppliers
Our approach to responsible sourcing ensures all major suppliers meet strict sustainability criteria and transparent practices as standard. This includes auditing our supply chains’ environmental policies and targets aimed at reducing operational environmental impacts. We collaborate closely with our supply chain and clients to support sustainable decision-making, with many projects showcasing products with sustainable raw materials, low VOC’s and both recycled and recyclable material content.
Our Clients
Having delivered numerous projects with strict environmental criteria including BREEAM and WELL certification, we’re well-versed in supporting our clients to achieve all of the required credentials and aspirations for their projects. Our experienced team are able to balance cost and quality to ensure that your design intent, budget and sustainability goals are aligned.
Hunters Circular
The purpose of Hunters Circular is to keep great furniture in use for as long as possible to reduce the environmental impact of our client’s projects as well as saving them time and money.
We have always considered reuse early in the specification process however as sustainability becomes higher on the agenda, we recognise that by working collaboratively with all key project stakeholders, as well as third party organisations, we are able to facilitate the refurbishment, reuse, reselling and recycling of quality furniture.
Whats Next?
Looking ahead, we’re strengthening our ESG strategy with new KPIs, supply chain targets and community outreach programmes. From improving packaging and procurement to reducing travel emissions and expanding our Hunters Circular platform, we’re taking bold steps towards a greener future and inviting our clients, partners and team to join us on the journey.
