A few weeks ago, Cassie, Leah and Mel from our design team headed over to Copenhagen where they were kindly hosted by Umage, for a whistle-stop two-day tour of the 3daysofdesign Festival.

Hot on the heels of London’s Clerkenwell Design Week, 3daysofdesign sees the design community take over Copenhagen. This year was the largest ever 3daysofdesign as it featured over 400 exhibiting brands spanning interior design, lighting and furniture.

Amongst the wealth of exhibitions, we saw a whole host of exciting new product launches, many of which feature in our 3daysofdesign highlights brochure. We were also introduced to some new furniture brands including several without a London presence that we wouldn’t usually get to experience as well as getting the opportunity to see the latest releases from our current suppliers.

In terms of furniture trends, there was plenty of classic Danish design on show with natural materials taking centre stage alongside a clear leaning towards fresh twists on retro designs. We also saw further evidence of the residential and hospitality-inspired styles that were particularly prevalent during Clerkenwell Design Week too.
