At Hunters – The Furniture Company, we believe that supporting mental health initiatives is more than just a responsibility, it’s a passion we proudly share.

This October, our team committed to raising both awareness and funds for Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity, by challenging ourselves to complete 10,000 steps each day. Together, we walked an amazing 1895.2 miles to ensure that support for mental health is accessible for all, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised an impressive £5,065.00 for Mind through our efforts.

The 10K Steps Challenge was not just about achieving a physical goal but about connecting our team in a meaningful way around a crucial cause. Every step we took brought us closer, as we were reminded of the importance of mental well-being, both in and outside the workplace.

We know that mental health is as vital as physical health, and each member of our team embraced the journey wholeheartedly, knowing that each step helped pave the way for greater understanding and support for mental health across the UK.

As part of our commitment to Mind, we encouraged our team members to share their own personal motivations, which kept us all motivated throughout the month. These stories highlighted the importance of being active, mindful, and compassionate. For many, the challenge was a reminder of how small daily efforts can make a substantial impact, both personally and for those in need.

The funds raised will go directly to supporting Mind’s programs, providing essential resources for mental health awareness, counselling, and support services nationwide.
