ACE is one of Europe’s leading insurance
companies with offices across the world. ACE
chose us to provide a loose furniture package
for their London office and was so pleased
with the result that we were asked to work
on a similar refresh of their Paris office. The
brief was to provide modern, professional
solutions for flexible meeting spaces and
breakout areas.
Right from the start, this project promised
to be a challenging one. Not only did the
installation have to be done out-of-hours – as
the office would be occupied for the duration
of the project – but the city of Paris has strict
restrictions on articulated lorries coming into
the city. Meticulous planning was vital.
Because we already have strong
relationships with suppliers, we could devise
a delivery schedule that did not affect the
day-to-day running of the busy office. We
coordinated multiple manufacturers, lead
times and products to fit in with the
out-of-hours installation. We also
negotiated all deliveries to be on smaller
vehicles rather than articulated lorries to
comply with the city’s restrictions.
Aside from the logistics, the products we
selected were clean, sharp and stylish.
Off the back of our work on their London
office, the client was confident in our
specification expertise.
There was a need from the client for a
meeting solution that included power, data
and conference call capabilities so
we sourced Orangebox Cwcth meeting units.
These are self-contained units that not only
meet the needs of the client but look chic
and modern when in place.
The space was clean, contemporary and
stylish. Our experience in managing complex
projects with precision and accuracy
meant that we were able to complete the
instillation on time and to budget while still
complying with all the regulations in place.
