Client Brief

Boutique Workplace reached out to Hunters to furnish their latest flexible workspace in Cheltenham, continuing a successful partnership spanning more than 12 years. The 12,000 sqft project was designed to accommodate businesses ranging from start-ups to organisations of up to 150 employees, with furniture required across reception, meeting rooms, open-plan workspaces, collaboration areas, dining spaces, storage facilities and outdoor areas.

The brief called for a furniture scheme that reflected Boutique’s distinctive and characterful aesthetic whilst maintaining a commercially focused budget.

Design Approach

Working closely with Boutique’s team, Hunters delivered a carefully curated furniture package that balanced design impact with cost-effective procurement. Boutique provided the overall design vision, with Hunters value engineering the furniture specification to achieve the desired look and feel whilst maximising budget efficiency.

A mix of products from Max Furniture, Narbutas, WSOF, Elite and CMD was selected to create a vibrant, welcoming environment. Particular attention was given to the storage solutions throughout the workspace, ensuring functionality and flexibility for a diverse range of occupiers.

Having delivered furniture for Boutique locations for over a decade, Hunters was able to draw on a deep understanding of the brand, helping to translate the design concept into a practical and commercially viable workspace.

Challenges & Results

As with many flexible workspace projects, achieving a high-quality aesthetic whilst maintaining commercial viability was a key consideration. Hunters delivered a furniture scheme that met Boutique’s design aspirations without compromising on budget.

Shortly after completion, the workspace reached full occupancy. The success of the project led to plans for the development of an additional floor within the same building, with Hunters continuing to support Boutique’s expansion.
