Having worked with us in the past and experiencing our exceptional customer service, a private clinic in London’s prestigious Harley Street came to us for help with a full furniture package across two sites in different listed buildings.
The brief was to create a range of spaces that were luxurious and high-spec while still being discreet and appropriate for the clinic’s clients.
Our scope included consulting rooms, boardrooms, large and small waiting areas, office areas and breakout spaces. Working in collaboration with the Architect and Designers, we were able to create spaces that met the requirements of the client while complementing the slightly different architecture of the two buildings.
In the more traditionally styled first building, we used desking and seating from Knoll creating a professional, classic space. We used Fantoni desking in the second building which had much cleaner, crisper lines giving a more modern feel.
We were directed by the Designer to focus on bespoke fabrics in different colours in each of the areas. We were able to specify these fabrics against a tight timeline and, where necessary, sourced less expensive alternatives to stay within budget.
As with any project, we were faced with challenges including small lifts and having to work around a basement that was not complete. Our experience, flexibility and expertise meant that these problems were quickly and easily solved and did not stop us from completing the project before the inevitable summer shut down which often delays manufacturer lead times.
The client was so pleased with the result that they asked us to replicate the project in their Manchester and Glasgow properties. We ensured that the sign-off process during the consultation stage was rigorous so that when it came to installation there was no snagging, issues or incorrect orders.
We were able to provide a mix of loose and system furniture which met the client’s need, came in on budget, was delivered on time and looked great.
