Client Brief
HOP came to us with a clear design vision and our role was to bring that specification to life. Working as a furniture partner, we took their Indurent brief and translated it into a finished space that honoured both the design intent and the budget. The goal was to create a workplace that felt genuinely classy: incorporating Indurent’s corporate colours without letting them overwhelm the space, and carving out a generous social environment alongside the working areas.
At 11,000 sqft across a single floor, the project had an added dimension of familiarity because we’d previously delivered the reception area for CBRE in the same building, so we understood the space and its character well.
Design Approach
Social space was a deliberate priority.
A significant portion of the floor was given over to collaborative and informal areas, creating an environment where people genuinely want to spend time.
To maximise value without compromising on the design, we introduced a number of bespoke joinery pieces, most notably a high table featuring a leg set at a 45-degree angle rather than a conventional slab end, and a run of desking carefully cut around an existing structural column to make the most of every square foot.
Challenges & Results
The bespoke elements were where the project tested us most. The angled-leg high table went through several iterations before it met the structural and aesthetic standard we needed. To maintain timescales, we ensured careful co-ordination to keep the project moving and the finish uncompromised.
The result is a space that does exactly what it set out to do: feel considered, social, and distinctly Indurent, without ever feeling like a corporate fit-out.
