Hunters provided a full furniture package as part of the refurbishment of their offices.
We worked with the interior designer, Furniss & May, with whom we have collaborated on numerous previous projects. Our task was to ensure that the potential of their vision was fully realised. Collaboration was key to the successful fulfilment of the brief and the seamless running of the installation.
We customised some products, including the Hay New Order reception counter. This product was essentially an open book shelf, but we added panels and doors to create a storage unit that met the requirements of the client whilst retaining its aesthetic impact.
Initially there were some products that in situ didn't quite harmonise with the overall tone of the interior, and so, after consultation with client and designer, we sourced alternatives. It was this fastidious and collaborative approach that guaranteed the fulfilment of Furniss & May's artistic vision and the satisfaction of Simpson Carpenter.

Primary colours are interspersed among the grey and wooden hues of the interior to generate an elegant ambience that holds simplicity, solidity and comfort. Lightweight and mobile seating is combined with more robust sofas and benching to support a variety of uses, creating a space that is at once relaxed yet businesslike.
Neutral, sleek pieces are used to complement the beautiful interior, with its exposed brickwork and copper light fittings. The boardroom is equipped with a Modus Edge table and Arper Catifa chairs in more sober tones to reflect the formality and privacy of this space.
The client shared our immense satisfaction with the end result, which is spectacular. The chic refinement of the interior is set off by the furniture pieces installed. The outcome is a space that is crisp, clean and genteel.
