Client Brief

Taylor & Francis, a subsidiary of Informa and a long-standing client of Swift, contracted Hunters to furnish their new office space in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. The single-floor industrial site was designed to accommodate approximately 150 staff and needed to reflect the client’s emphasis on flexibility and contemporary design.

The brief called for a workspace that balanced functionality with comfort, incorporating flexible booths for private meetings, soft furnishing areas for relaxation, and furniture that aligned with Informa’s preference for brands they have consistently integrated into their recent offices.

Design Approach

Hunters collaborated closely with Swift to deliver a design that met the client’s high expectations for interaction and quality. The contemporary aesthetic was achieved through a curated selection of furniture from Icons of Denmark, HAY, and other premium manufacturers.

An essential product we included were Spacestor MAX booth to offer a flexible space that could accommodate private meetings.

Icons of Denmark’s furniture was a must-have, reflecting the client’s preference as well as ensuring consistency with Informa’s other offices.

Challenges & Results

The project was delivered on time and within budget despite the logistical complexities of coordinating a large number of manufacturers and ensuring timely installation.

The result is a modern, flexible workspace that supports Taylor & Francis’ evolving needs whilst providing a comfortable environment for staff. This successful project further solidifies Informa as a repeat customer.
