The Essex Business School prides itself on embedding bespoke career development into its courses.
As they relocated and expanded an exiting department, they chose Hunters to select and install a bespoke full furniture solution that reflected their values and their commitment to operating in an environmentally responsible manner.
The building uses methods and materials inspired by those used in the Eden Project - including timber frameworks, timber cladding, and an internal winter garden.
Our challenge was to source furniture that complemented the environmentally responsible nature of the building, without compromising on the look or functionality of the pieces.
We worked in collaboration with a client side Project Manager to select the package early and install on time, even though the building was not finished and the lifts were not yet commissioned.
Bespoke corner seating and bookcases, Senator seating and Orangebox pods (which were specially adapted to sit on a cork floor instead of carpet) completed this unusual and natural space.
The West Sussex bespoke solution we sourced for the simulation trade floor was a particular success in this project
Collaborating with the Project Manager and his team was the key bringing the vision to life ahead of time and within budget.
