Granite Search & Selection is a resourcing specialist offering a boutique to the construction industry. Relocating to Birchin Lane in London, Granite appointed Furniss & May as their lead architect to create a dynamic new office space in the heart of The City.

This was a budget driven project; simple white benching was used in the working spaces, with vibrant coloured chairs from Hay in the meeting rooms and lockers by Mikomax.

Furniss & May created a multi-functional space within the new working environment. At certain times of the day the boardroom could be changed into an activity space where boxercise and yoga classes could take place

To make this possible flip-top tables and Hay stackable chairs where placed in this new versatile space.

By developing a friendly and close relationship with the project team we kept open lines of communication throughout the project.

The outcome has created a wonderful environment that reflects Granite’s bold identity. This is all down to the design scheme created by Furniss & May, with a tight budget they have created something true spectacular.
