Following a recent merger, investment management firm Quilter Cheviot needed to find a furniture consultant who could understand and meet the combined needs of the two merged companies as they became one. Quilter Cheviot met with us, reviewed our tender and chose us to provide furniture solutions for their London office (27,000 sq ft).
The brief was clear, yet challenging: create a highly professional, fit-for-purpose environment with a light-weight and flexible appearance to suit the needs of the newly formed company.
During the two week installation we were on site attending project meetings, working with designers and making sure the project ran to time and budget, even with contractors running behind schedule.
Using high quality product was key to achieving a smart, modern and consistent look. By combining Knoll Plateau Benching with bespoke Humanscale M-flex Dual Beam, we gave each user across the trader floor space for up to six monitors. Knoll
Colourfold Storage and Fritz Ro Chairs gave the environment a stylish feel while the muted colour palette reflected the Quilter Cheviot corporate colours and complimented the chic and professional atmosphere.
With the soft seating selection for this project we utilised our industry leading knowledge and expertise to go beyond our clients’ expectations. We gave Quilter Cheviot a selection of six soft seating pieces to try out in their current workspace. Collecting feedback from employees through questionnaires and analysing the results gave us a statistical indication of the right soft seating choice to suit their needs perfectly.
The result was a beautiful, efficient space with the light-weight feel the client was after. The work areas and breakout areas complimented each other and the products we chose gave a consistent feel across the trader floor and through into the executive offices.
We worked to SKA criteria to ensure our work was carried out in an environmentally sustainable way and we will be working with Quilter Cheviot again in the future.
