Price Forbes is an independent, specialist Lloyd’s broker, trading with all major international insurance and reinsurance markets in London, Bermuda and Europe.

They strive to embody the traditional principles of truly bespoke broking. We won the tender to install a full furniture package, designed by Cushman & Wakefield, across three floors in the client’s City of London location.

This project presented a unique set of challenges. The client was in occupation throughout the installation, so we broke the programme down into three phases, one for each floor. This enabled the client to gradually phase in occupation across the floors and minimise disruption to their business.

Deliveries were only possible out of hours along with only small vehicles being able to enter the loading bay. As a result, our deliveries had to be arranged and scheduled with the utmost precision to ensure that there were no interruptions to the installation process. Meticulous coordination was essential to success.

Bespoke furniture from OPM was chosen for the boardroom. Their slender lines maximise the sense of space. Voluptuous cuboid-shaped chairs by Davison Highley in the reception and communal areas conserve space while still providing a luxurious feel. The breakout areas were fitted with a selection of furniture from Davison Highley, Vitra, Morgan and Orangebox, with storage by Bisley.

Following the growing trend in new ways of working, we installed sit-stand desking by Elite throughout the workspace. Sit-stand solutions are undoubtedly the future, providing considerable health benefits for people at work. This type of installation requires specific installation expertise and we demonstrated on this project that we have the experience to deliver.
